THREAD LIFT
A minimally invasive option for selected cases of laxity and facial contour support.
What is a thread treatment?
Medical threads may be used in selected patients to support tissue and improve the appearance of mild to moderate laxity without surgery. Different thread types have different properties, and the appropriate option depends on anatomy, tissue quality and the intended result.
Planning and procedure
The face and neck are assessed while you are upright. Entry points and thread paths are planned before treatment, which is performed with sterile technique and local anaesthesia where appropriate.
Recovery and results
Bruising, swelling, tenderness, temporary dimpling or a pulling sensation can occur. The early appearance settles over time. Results and duration vary, and a thread lift does not reproduce the outcome of surgical lifting.
Who may be suitable?
Suitability can only be decided after medical assessment. The doctor will discuss expected benefit, limitations, alternatives and individual aftercare.
